Campagne (which means countryside), has a beautiful secluded outdoor patio with Japanese maples and extensive landscaping, plus a permanent brick structure fitted with reclaimed pine (recovered from a former home of Abe Lincoln), removable windows and temperature control for year-round usage. Under the direction of chef Michael Altenberg, Campagne uses organic food products whenever possible, and supports the sustainable, low-impact agriculture movement. The menu offers staples like French onion soup and steak frites, but also focuses on seasonal presentations of bistro classics.
