Milk & Honey Cafe

Neighborhood: East Village / Ukrainian Village
1920 W. Division St.

Chicago, IL 60622
773-395-9434
Price range: $ (Under $9)
Located along the booming bar and restaurant strip on West Division Street in Wicker Park, this friendly breakfast and lunch spot is a refreshingly non-corporate (read not Starbucks) operation. The space is warm and bright light with wood tables and chairs, fireplace and a small breakfast counter with stools. The storefront windows open onto a sidewalk cafe. Morning commuters can stop in for quick pastry and coffee service.

The menu changes frequently, based on demand and availability of fresh ingredients. Breakfast might include choices like orange brioche French toast, a breakfast burrito, or buttermilk-granola pancakes; lunch might include an herb-crusted roast beef on ciabatta, a crab cake with chipotle mayo on baguette or a smoked turkey Reuben on rye. Plenty of sweets are on hand, including the house-made chocolate-chocolate chunk and peanut butter-white chocolate cookies. Brunch is served on weekends and you can enjoy your frittata with a bloody mary or sparkling mimosa.
