No Donuts at the Donut Shop

I was pretty excited to see Dat Donut bring its signature 'Big Dat" XL glazed donut to the Beverly/Morgan Park area, but it has been a HUGE disappointment. I visited every day for a week after the "Now Open' sign went up only to find each day that they were not open. When they finally did open, they had no donuts. There were no signature Big Dats at all and only a few measly dried donuts remaining. at 10:30am. Imagine that. How can a Donut shop run out of donuts? Today I stopped by at 9:30a for the 8th time and guess what? Right, again for the 8th time, no Big Dat donuts. Tha's incredible. On top of that the staff behaves as if they've never seen a customer before. They are slow to acknowledge your presence and even slower providing any service. On one visit where I settled on trying one of the few remaining donuts, there were only 2 customers in the shop and we were there more thatn 20 minutes trying to buy a donut, that at this point,we really didn't want.

Excellent Donuts! They were fresh and delicious. I recommend this place to everyone. Forget about Dunkin Donuts! Forget about Krispy Kreme. Dat is where its at!
