Set in the front area of the original Leon's Bar-B-Que, Dat Donuts serves basic doughnuts (including Boston creme, chocolate cake and glazed) and also the monstrous "Big Dat." What's dat? A doughnut approximately two inches high and four inches across. To the right of the area where you order doughnuts and coffee are two other windows that open at peak times (11 a.m.-1 a.m.) to serve nachos, chili and ice cream. So where did the name come from? Owner Darryl Townson says it refers to the way small children speak, saying "dat" instead of "that."
