i tried 4 cupcakes: red velvet, black white, salted caramel & foie gras. the yummiest frosting of them all was by far the foie gras. the big disappointment was that each of them were very dry. not just a little crumbly, but incredibly dry. very sad when you consider all of the thought & imagination that have gone into planning the flavors & the basic execution of the cake is so badly flawed. unfortunately, i don't think i'll be returning.

Ridiculous Prices

I like cupcakes as much as anyone else but $3.50 for a small cupcake? Are you kidding me??? My chocolate cupcake was good but it fell apart when I picked it up. For $3;50 you can buy an equally good box of 6 cupcakes from Trader Joe's!

More Please

I just went to Thanksgiving dinner at my boyfriend's house, and lo and behold, for dessert, they were serving More cupcakes. I have been meaning to make it over to More, but haven't gotten around to doing so! Seems I didn't have to! Our Thanksgiving spread included the usual, and then MORE!!!!! We had both sweet and savory (a savory cupcake?!?) and they were all amazing. Somehow, the folks at MORE managed to capture the essence of stuffing and put in all in a cupcake. Unreal! How do they do that?? Anyway, it was delightful (and, while I'll deny it under oath), far superior to the stuffing that my boyfriend's mother served.

For dessert, they had Chocolate cupcakes, Red Velvet and the Black and White. I sampled a bite from all three, and I have to say, they were amazing! This is, hands down, the best chocolate cake the city has to offer. The Red Velvet was out of this world -- I've yet to meet it's rival and the Black and White, was not only beautiful, but tasted exquisite as well! This could become a very bad habit! Rock on MORE!

AWESOME!!!

I LOVED this place. It was delicious. I think the savory concept is different than most people are used to but a good kind of different. The BLT cupcake was to die for, but it's not the stereotypical cupcake which people need to realize. The sweet cupcakes are also delicious. I loved every single one I tried-- and i tried a lot!!

This place is definitely worth the visit. The price point is right for what you get too.

Love More

Ok I love this place. The chocolate cake is out of this world, but the strawberry and black and white might be my new favorites. No wait, I'm forgetting the mango and coconut.... Bottom line: this is the penultimate cupcake joint, moist and delicious with frosting that makes me want to beg for more. The fact that it's in my neighborhood is an added bonus.

NO More!!

On my walk home from work last night, thought I'd give these a try and bring a treat home for desert. The cupcakes were pricey, dry, along with way too much frosting. I tried the white velvet cupcakes and really thought they lacked any kind of taste. Actually, I threw away 1/2 of mine as I did not want the calories. I was not impressed and will not be back.

My favorite, along with another reviewer's of this establishment is Sweet Mandy B's.

You must understand that I absolutely LOVE cupcakes and will go out of my way for them. I was so excited when I found out that More was opening and waiting anxiously for the opening day to go try out the cupcakes. I tried the chocolate chip cupcake and didn't care for it at all. First of all, I was turned off at how expensive one cupcake was. Also, they were making bacon in the store that day and the smell was so strong that it seeped into the frosting and made the frosting on my cupcake taste like bacon. It was DISGUSTING (especially since I am vegetarian). It went in the trash as did my opinion of the place. Won't go back again. A Note to More: you might want to keep the sweet cupcakes away from the bacon and other savory cupcakes so that the scents don't get mixed up like they did.

I'll just stick to the best cupcakes I've ever had in my life which are at Sweet Mandy B's.

Please Sir, can I have some more?

It's been said before, but I'll say it again: More is More.! The Bacon Maple Cupcake is wonderful (why didn't anybody think of this before)? The chocolate ranks among the best I have ever eaten. The store is beautiful and the staff are friendly, and generous with samples! They let me try a Red Velvet (also delicious) and a Salted Caramel (one of their best sellers and I can see why). After eating a More cupcake, well, I just want more.

More is Less

I bought two cupcakes-BLT and the chocolate strawberry to try out. The BLT was definitely creative-Cornbread mixed in with bacon topped with ranch and tomatoes. The Chocolate Strawberry was chocolate cupcake topped with a creamy strawberry icing. I have to say that the BLT was definitely worth the trip but the chocolate strawberry tasted average. Overall, I still like Cupcakes off of Briar the best. Better prices and overall better flavors for the cupcakes.

MORE is MORE!!!!!!

This place rocks!!!!
Hands down, the best cupcakes in the city!

I tried five in total, the MORE (an out of this world cream filled cupcake -- eat your heart out Hostess), the Salted Caramel (a yellow cupcake, with a liquid caramel center) the White Velvet (a moist delicate white cake topped with vanilla buttercream and white chocolate curls) and the Brie Grape Champagne (filled with graps, brie and topped with champagne frosting). I found each one of them exquisite. All of the cakes were moist and delicious, and the frostings perfectly complemented the cakes. I had to wait a few minutes for my savory cupcake (I was informed me that they bake throughout the day so the supply is always fresh and available). The staff was incredibly friendly and attentivie. They explained all the flavors and because I had to wait for my Brie Grape the owner even offered me a free sample! I got a mini black and white cupcake (they call them "moresels") which tasted delicious and was breathtaking to behold (chocolate chip cake, topped with chocolate buttercream and milk and white chocolate curls). I'd travel to the end of the earth for More, but luckily I don't have to since I live a block away!

I will definitely be back for more!
