Scrumptious treats!

I attended the Open House for Let Them Eat Chocolate and was a delight! I sampled a little of everything from the strawberry cake that included white chocolate between it's layers, to gelato, to individual chocolates, great coffee and stayed long enough to enjoy a pannini which was out of this world delicious. All the while I listened to a mix of live music off the corner stage near the windows. There was one artist after another and was very enjoyable listening to them all. The ambience and color theme adds to the charm of the place. I recommend it for anyone traveling to Chicago....or of course, folks living in that particular area. I can't wait to get over there again. I know I'll go back sometime this summer.

When I walked into this place I just instantly loved the colors and space of this place.. Somewhere you could hang for awhile. They also have free Wifi for patrons. Now , for the best part. The chocolate is the best, I am very picky and the staff was so friendly and helpful with any questions. No preseratives in the chocolate, pretty gift boxes to go for that special occasion. I had a scoop of gelato, Mexican chocolate, yum! Also made from scratch. No powders, etc. The coffee is amazing and the prices are on the lower side. I will want to make this a regular place to go and try all the other treats. The owner had just gotten the outdoor permit the day I was there. That will be in place in the very near future. I also want to go back for the live music some evening....ciao for now!
