Paula Haney, the pie princess behind Hoosier Mama Pie Company (her yummy handmade pies are available at the Green City Market and a few restaurants around town, including Charmer's Cafe and Glenn's Diner) runs the show at this tiny West Town pie shop with a cute, retro vibe. Pies are available in two sizes or by the slice, and there's also a small selection of muffins, scones, turnovers and mini-quiches. New pies rotate into the lineup seasonally, but standing favorites include chocolate chess, classic apple, chocolate cream with bananas and lemon meringue. Haney makes savory dinner pies such as apple-sage-pork too. There are just a few tables, but if the sunny window seat's open, grab it and settle in with a slice and a cup of Metropolis coffee.
