If there’s one thing this town loves, it’s a BYO brunch. That’s probably why there’s already a lot of interest in this adorable breakfast, lunch and weekend brunch spot in Lakeview. We love the 1940s-style comics on the wall and the eclectic menu, which includes everything from toffee-batter pancakes ($7) for breakfast and a sweetbreads sandwich ($14) for lunch. Other lunch entrees include sweet pea risotto ($13.50) and, in case you didn’t get your fill last week, the Day After Thanksgiving Turkey Sandwich ($11), an open-faced gobbler served with cranberry relish. If you’re looking for a quick breakfast on the way to the "L", stop in for a quiche du jour ($7) or a granola parfait ($5.50).
