Not a friendly place

The cashiers were not friendly. The restaurant doesn't offer any meatless dishes except pizza. A friend ordered the same food as me but was offered a special deal, (more food, less money). I went back to ask for a refund and they wouldn't do it.

Luke's is solid all around. They are the best place around for something quick. Their beefs are really good and their hot dogs are the real deal with Vienna and Rosen's poppy seed buns. There are a lot of places around that omit the poppy seed bun and I just don't get it. Just make sure you ask for Chicago-style, not everything. The everything doesn't have sport peppers. I disagree with the pizza comments. I enjoy their pizza. It's a nice change. It's not deep dish and it's not thin crust. It's somewhat in the middle and almost reminds me of a pizza hut pan(of the chains, it's my fav pizza). Their sausage is REALLY good. It's definitely got a distinct flavor and I wouldn't get it if you are looking for Malnati's, Uno's, etc. Their fries are really good. My cousin and aunt love them. Dear Franks in Deerfield has the best fries around though. Get them well done and they can't be touched. Oh and I forgot to mention the double cheeseburger. Now of course it's pretty difficult to screw up a cheeseburger, so a good cheeseburger is nothing to write home about, but I think their cheeseburger is very good. I'm a cheeseburger kinda guy. I have a Hamburgler beanie baby in my car window(kinda gay, I know). So go to Luke's, you'll be pretty satisfied. Great deals on large amounts of beef for parties and whatnot.

May your meal be delicious.

A Tasty Fast Food Joint

I have a couple of clients in the area, so I stop in for lunch when I'm nearby. I get the grilled chicken sandwich and I have them add mozzarella and sweet peppers to it. It's probably one of the healthier things you can order there, but it tastes SO good!!! I've never eaten anything else here, but the fries, the beef, burgers, etc... look really good. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the neighborhood.

decent place for lunch

pretty good burger, decent beef's. Pizza needs improvement or stop serving it. prices are slightly too high, but that is probably due to the area it is in. Would not call anything served here "The Best" but not a bad place to stop and eat.

Very good italian beef -- absolutely the worst pizza ever made in the western hemisphere -- I am embarrassed for them how awful their pizza is and cannot fathom how they have not made steps to improve upon their recipe.
