It’s a flower shop. No, it’s a cafe. Wait—it’s both! You enter this bright little 14-seat cafe through a garden-level flower shop where jewelry, gifts and artwork from local artists are also for sale. In back is the cafe, which serves breakfast and lunch five days a week. Owner Betsy Mikelson, a former caterer, is in the kitchen whipping up simple fare such as waffles, smoked salmon plates, sandwiches, salads and homemade soups. During the week, expect a neighborhood crowd that includes a lot of regulars ("It's like a sitcom in here," Mikelson says); weekends draw a more varied crowd.
