Jon Young (Volo, Paramount Room, Kitsch’n on Roscoe, Kitsch’n River North) didn’t have to look too far to find the name of this modern River North spot. It's his fifth restaurant, and it’s located in suite five of the former Montgomery Ward warehouse, adjacent to Kitsch’n River North (the two restaurant spaces are separated by a heavy curtain). Chef Stephen Dunne's new American menu includes options such as pumpkin and shrimp beignets, lacquered chicken wings with buttermilk dressing and crumbled blue cheese, wagyu tartar and a wagyu burger with beefsteak tomatoes, romaine, red onions and a secret sauce. A seasoned lineup of talent from Volo and Paramount Room, including pastry chef Suzi Beu, wine director Shad Martin and mixologist Shawn Koch, helps round out the offerings.
