The folks behind Keefer's have opened this "polished casual" eatery in the Prudential Plaza -- right across the street from Millennium Park. The woody space features tin ceilings, a granite-topped, semi-circular bar, and great views of the park through oversized windows. John Hogan, the executive chef at Keefer's, is also the top toque here; Michael Cisternino (ex Gioco, Carmine's) has been named chef de cuisine. The all-day menu offers a wide variety of choices, including appetizers, salads, sandwiches and entrees. Selections include: blue cheese-crusted filet mignon sliders; a prime rib sandwich with Swiss cheese and caramelized onions; an Asian shrimp salad; and a double-cut pork chop with cherry-cola barbecue sauce.
