First of all - all previous reviews are outdated since they were for the Italian Rosebud Restaurant.
We were very partial to the former Rosebud but were willing to try the new Comfort Food one. The outdoor seating area is still as pretty as before and the reason we still like it now. However, the inside seems a bit stark, with little ambiance. The food caters very much to families and the kid's menu is cute. While we do not love it nearly as much as before we will frequent it occasionally but it is no longer our favorite Rosebud Restaurant by any means.

This is a great restaurant if you want a good size meal that tastes great. The restaurant is small but comfortable, but is extremely loud and difficult to hear just talking to someone at your own table at times.

Drinks, bread, and appetizer came out promptly. Entree's came out midway through the appetizer. Everything was excellent although they were a bit slow to refill the water. Appetizer ordered was the calamari. Entree's were ravioli and chicken marsala. Both dishes were as expected of fine Italian dining. Prices weren't cheap but still in line with other decent Italian restaurants.

I have been here a few times and the service has been awful and the tables are too close together. I could hear the couple next to us contiplating a divorce. They have never been able to get an order right.

This was my first time here, loved it. The food was great, our waiter Dave was very friendly and very attractive--had a real nice butt too. I would highly recommend this restaraunt.
Report This ReviewMy favorite Rosebud restaurant - best atmoshpere, extremely friendly and efficient waitstaff, great value for very good food. Look forward to going there again and again.
Report This ReviewMy husband and I loved the food at this restaurant! He had he ravioli and I had pasta with alfredo sauce. It was delicious. We call to make reservations and they wouldn't allow us to make reservations for two people. We waited for about 45minutes but it was obviously homecoming night for the area high school because a lot of tables were taken by children in fancy dresses and suits. I was not impressed with how we were treated because we weren't "regulars." Several two person parties were let in and sent directly to a table.... and we weren't allowed to make reservations??? That's sounds a little "fishy" to me!
Report This ReviewI have been to many Italian restaurants and Rosebud Of Naperville rates right up there with the top. I have had many different meals there and each was excellent. The desserts are to die for. The creme brulee` and terimasu are superb.
Report This ReviewMy husband and I thought this place could use much improvement. Who cares if they have huge quantities when the food is inedible? We love Italian food and are not picky eaters, but this was just flavorless, unseasoned, and our pasta was so mushy. Two words: al dente!!! To top it off, our waiter was rude, unhelpful, and had a generally sour disposition.
Report This ReviewOkay, so I read all these mediocre reviews and I have to pipe in. I go to RB Naperville a few times a month. The food is very good, and good value. The service, (ask for Nick, Victor, or Wendy as your waiter) is as good as I have had anywhere. The managers Dino, Tim, and Dennis have always been pleasant and professional. We love Rosebud....Chopped Salad, Chicken Marsala, and some dessert...I'm in heaven!
