This place is a gem. Great food. Great service. Who can beat the $4 martinis on Wed, and $4 glasses of wine on Thurs. Try the pork chop -- wonderful.

It's about time Rogers Park got a really great eatery. The food was great, wine was good, and the bread basked was never empty. Great prices too.

Food is excellent, and you have a lot of choices..Try Sea Bass, Salmon or Steak. And home made desserts are yummy...I live downtown, but don't mind going to RoPa for good food and quality service.
Report This ReviewI am fairly new to Chicago and just started discovering new places around the city. I found RoPa by accident when I got lost on Sheridan road before dinner time, a few of my friends joined me there for dinner. The ambiance is lovely and the service was excellent. Our check could have been twice more any other place downtown or Lincoln Park. Very good wine selection and tasty dishes to pair. Try the Pork Chops or the Rib Eye Steak. I will definitely be back again and again!
Report This ReviewI am a big time red drinker and try to check out wine bars. However, I was prettty amazed with the quality of the food and great service at RoPa more than the wine. Their wine list also great with mix of pretty much everything. The owner was very kind enough to come over to our table to ask us how we liked everything and on top of it he bought us a dessert (the best tiramisu I have ever had). I highly reccommend this place for people who are looking for real quality food with an affordable price and awesome service.
Report This ReviewI have been to RoPa a few times since they opened. I have tried almost any entrees and appetizers on the menu. Calamari, borek and salads are my favorites, both Sirloin and Rib Eye Steaks are absolutely fabulous, Sea Bass is exactly the same. Wine list is also very affordable and nicely picked. Besides, the ambiance is very relaxing and service is quick and friendly. I heard that they will start serving Sunday Brunches soon, I am looking forward to it.
Report This ReviewIf you live in the neighborhood, or even if you don't, try this new gem of a restaurant. The setting is lovely with soaring ceilings, groovy tiles niches in the feature wall and exciting yet soothing colors. The menu is very comforting with well prepared favorites. If you have room at the end of the meal, try the cheesecake. It is some of the best i have ever had. I will be back.
Report This ReviewEveryone in our group loved this new restaurant - great food, wonderful service and a beautiful setting. The tomato soup, bone in rib eye and lemon caper chicken entrees were exceptional and the desserts were all amazing (especially the apple pie). Can't wait to go back!!!
Report This ReviewCan't say I was impressed by this grocery store wine list. Nothing to exciting, that I couldn't find in Jewel for cheaper.
Good thing the food was better.
I can't say enough about this great new restaurant that a friend of mine told me about. The wine selection is fantastic the menu is great! I had the salmon all I could say is WOW!! the owner was really pleasant he introduced himself and asked my opinion on how everything was and you could tell he was really sincere about hearing my opinion. The room was beautiful and service was great! I will definately go back again.
