Windows border the exterior walls of this classy dining room, providing a picturesque view of Cantigny Golf Course. For lunch, regulars go with The Sampler: a half club sandwich, cup of soup, potato chips and a slice of pie a la mode. Sunday brunch draws fans from all over the area (call ahead for a reservation) for a vast spread of pastries, breakast basics and seafood, plus a carving station and omlets made to order. The impressive dessert table features a bubbling chocolate fountain. During golf season from April through October, Red Oak opens its more casual sports lounge, called The Fareways Grill, open 7 a.m. to dusk.
