The menu at this American eatery located within River North’s Rock Bottom Brewery focuses heavily on steaks and seafood, including a 22-ounce porterhouse, Maryland lump crab cakes and bacon-wrapped scallops finished with spicy aioli and Thai chili sauce. Sides range from potatoes au gratin to creamed spinach to bourbon-glazed mushrooms. Though it sounds a bit like a traditional steakhouse, it’s not an a la carte experience. All entrees are served with a side, a salad (mixed tableside) and a garnish of the day, making a meal here more affordable than your classic steakhouse splurge. The dining room is a big step up from the casual pub atmosphere at the adjacent brewery, sporting walnut finishes, warm amber lighting and linen tablecloths topped with butcher paper. The beer, however, remains the same, though it's joined here by an extensive wine list with more than 30 by-the-glass options.
