Very much overpriced. Pretentious overly-ambitious menu. The service was not in line with the prices. The food preparation was disappointing. Too noisy as well.
We're not going back.

The food is very average, the prices are sky-high, the attitude of waiters is unjustified.
I regret going to this place!

My friend and I decided to try a new restuarant and what a great choice. From beginning to end the food and service was top notch. We had the tuna tartar to start..what great flavors! My friend and I shared the rack of lamb and the blue crab ravioli and all I can saw is WOW!! The lamb was cooked to a perfect medium rare that melted in your mouth and we enjoyed the ravioli with fresh steamed spinach. Thanks to the bartender, Rich, for an enjoyable evening!

My husband and I went to 160 blue for our 10th anniversary. There were many good things about our experience, others, not so good. Unfortunately, the not-so-good tends to sway me when I am on the fence.
To start, we had drinks at the bar, which was nice. Friendly bartender, good selection etc..
We had a great table, which I had requested when I made the reservation, and I was pleased that we were seated in a spot where we could see the kitchen and the room, which was lovely.
Service--was excellent. One exception was that my husband ordered a glass of wine with his meal, which he asked to be brought when the food came out. The wine never came, and the waiter for some reason was nowhere to be found. We flagged a busperson, who promtly brought out the wine.
Food-was good, but not great, which I had hoped for. I had steak and hubby had fish. Nothing special about the presentation, and no flavors that just "popped," which would have been nice...something to stand out.
My criticism, and this may sound petty, is that I got a short pour for my glass of wine. The bartender came to the table and poured me a glass from the bottle, and it was barely 3 oz. If I'm dropping $200 on a meal, give me a decent glass of wine. For a $10 glass, I expect a decent amount to be swirling around in my glass. I should have said something at the time, but didn't. I did bring it up in a telephone call with the manager a couple days later (for something unrelated, but wanted to let him know that that was the one thing that I was unhappy with). He told me to ask for him the next time I was there and he would ensure it wouldn't happen again. Gee thanks...get me in again, and I will be totally embarrassed asking for the manager to oversee our bartender pour the drinks. I think not! He should have said, "why don't you come back and I'll be you a round" or something like that. Don't make me come back to have you babysit the bartender...
Anyhow, that experience definitely soured the experience, though it did not ruin it.
If you are not a "foodie" or don't have high(er) expectations for your food, then this place is great. However, there are so many other places with fantastic food that I would not return.

We took my in-laws here because they love professional service. The service here is great. Always great. For example: My father in-law ordered a simple bowl of plain raspberries for dessert and then he sprinkled some sugar on it. When the waiter walked passed she noticed something on the raspberries and checked to make sure the chef didn't put some powdered sugar on it since he had asked for it plain. He told her that he put the sugar on it. I thought that was a nice gesture. The food is great. Service is great. Interior is great and we'll go back. Patrons are of the older age. The last two times I have gone there the bar area has been completely empty and only have the restaurant is filled.

Food would great at 1/3 the price, the service.. or really, the managers... were rude and disrespectful, leaving a large group of unhappy servers and staff. So nobody there cares... and you shouldn't either.

Took my friend there this past weekend who was visiting from out of town. We were disappointed with the overall experience. To start, we were the only ones in the dining room who were under 50 years old. We had the bouillabaisse, which was average. We each had a fish entree, both of which were bland. The specialty cocktails we ordered also had no taste. Maybe this is to reflect the tastebuds of the older clientele? Service was average, but overall I regretted picking this place for an out of towner b/c I do not believe it reflects Chicagos great restaurant scene.

I had wanted to visit One Sixty Blue for quite some time now, having been to all the amazing restaurants in the city over the past few years, and I have to say I was a little disappointed. The decor of the restaurant was sleek and modern, no complaints there. The service was good, and the waiter was knowledgeable of the menu and wine list. The menu seemed to have fewer items than I am used to, it was defiantly limiting. We had both a hot and cold appetizer, both were just ok, nothing amazing (but I must say my boyfriend enjoyed them). My entree, was overcooked, and I actually sent it back to be cooked properly (something I have only done a couple times in my life). And even when it came back, it was still very dry. Dessert was great though! The wine from a small boutique winery, which the waiter help us choose, was truly amazing! So, if I ever go back it would be just for dessert and wine.

I went to OneSixty Blue during the restaurant week promotion and was very disappointed. Our server from the very beginning was very rude and snotty. He treated us like we weren't worthy to eat at the restaurant. When we weren't ready to order he just stood at the table waiting for us to decide instead of giving us a little space. After that I don't think we saw him at all. Through the entire meal we could see a large group of servers just standing around and talking. I understand getting poor attention because you're busy, but there is no excuse when you are over-staffed. The food was tasty, but the portions were laughable. I'm glad that we tried out OneSixty Blue during restaurant week instead of blowing a lot of money on a disappointing meal.

I took my family for a special occasion to what I had heard was one of the best restaurant in the city.
We were delighted and will definitely go back to enjoy the amazing food, the great service and some incredible wine.
It is not one of the best but surely The Best in the city. Highly recommended. Chef Martial’s creation is truly amazing. Perfect for romantic dinner but also for family treat.
I wish I could enjoy the exquisite food everyday!!!!!!
