On James St. off Third in Geneva is a hidden treasure, amongst the chain restuarants and greasy diners of Chicago's Western Suburbs is a breath of fresh air. The decor has an off beat flair that glissens when the sun shines through the windows in the morning morning. Everything I have had on the menu was great even though they are still smoothing the wrinkles and quirks of opening a new restuarant. I wish I could go every week!

Nosh tries really hard to...

Nosh tries really hard to be a nice spot, but the food (outside of my wife's chocolate chip pancakes) was average at best. But the real kicker was there were only two other tables filled at the restaurant and we still waited almost and hour and a half for omelettes. We were patient but the waitress never even said "sorry for the wait" or "your food will be out shortly"...

When our food did come out, they had 2 out of 6 meals wrong. Pretty sad, especially given the uncrowded nature and simplicity of the menu.

In addition, they changed the menu and did not serve any lunch that day, only brunch.

The people there were nice. Aloof but nice. And again, the food was nothing fantastic. Maybe it was the new menu, but nobody said they'd go back.

The best breakfast and lunch...

The best breakfast and lunch spot we've found in the Western Suburbs, no question. Not your typical diner or chain restaurant food - it actually tastes great and isn't deep fried. Fun, hip atmosphere and a great menu selection, there's something for everyone. We've sent several people and all have loved the food for both breakfast and lunch - we highly recommend it!

Outstanding! Finally a hip breakfast/lunch place in the western suburbs. Try one of the "Migas de pan caliente", one offering is a Spanish bread salad with eggs, chorizo, bacon and prosciutto with a balsamic reduction. The soft pear polenta with seared pears and herbed goat cheese is a great starter. For lunch the Cuban pressed pork sandwich has gotten rave revues from some friends. Check this place out!!!
