This cozy, romantic Arts and Crafts-style spot boasts a fireplace and all-season patio seating (glass doors are thrown open when the weather's nice) with stellar views of Lincoln Park and the skyline beyond. Chef Bruce Sherman's creative American cooking, which makes the most of organic and locally sourced ingredients, is refined and memorable. In 2003 Sherman was named one of the 10 Best New Chefs in America by Food & Wine Magazine and he's received multiple Best Chef: Great Lakes nominations from the James Beard Foundation.
