We were a party of 13. The service was great and very attentive. The food excellent... We started off with a selection of appetizers the from Mussels to Oysters to the Tart of the day great. I had the Sweet Potatoes Gnocchi very good with an earthy aroma others had the Chicken Fricassee plates cleaned and the Veal Osso Buco very tender. Followed by a nice array of delectable desserts. All in all a very warm and comfotable evening and not very taxing on the pocketbook. Menu is seasonal

Okay, it may have been redone on the fly, but the prices and oil in the fryer sure haven't. Things have not changed for this resturant. The entire time we were there you could tell the bar tender was on the phone with the owner, what did they eat, how many? etc. The burger was the same tired dried out meat, the fries tasted like last Decembers grease, and the Martini's for the price a better value is down the street. This place needs a complete over haul including the staff's attitudes, it's as if we were in the way. Other resturants have equal priced bar menu's shop around until this place gets a mental redo !

Amazing meal tonight. Everything was so good. The Martini, the salad, the bread, the entree, the dessert. Wonderful meal for dining out for life night! I am going back soon and often. I had gone once before a while back and it was not so good. But know that since then the chef is new and the waitstaff is friendly. My new favorite place to dine in Andersonville

We just had the most amazing experience at this restaurant. I've been several times in the past for the great food, but not recently. Evidently they closed to remodel, revamp and refresh - and WHAT A DIFFERENCE! The ambiance is unrivaled in all of Andersonville - the service was impeccable - the food to die for. I had the Steak Frites, which was cooked perfectly. My friend had the Halibut, also wonderful. We loved everything about it - a lot of new cool touches, like brown paper over white tablecloths, stamped with a little La Tache logo. So cute! Hi marble tables in the bar with this amazing huge mural painted on the wall. If you haven't been in awhile, it's totally worth checking out!

I've given La Tush 3 tries and still feel extremely disappointed in the service, the overly expensive food, the steak was so chewy I couldn't get through it, and the pretentious attitude. Thanks but no thanks. never again.

I would agree that La Tache had some rough times this past year, but they have risen like a phoenix to once again provide a high quality of food and service.
Last week, my friends and I went to La Tache and I ordered their steak frites. It was superb. The meat was cooked perfectly and the bordelaise sauce was the perfect accompaniment.
If you were dissatisfied with La Tache in the past, it is time to try it again. I am just sad that its to cold to dine al fresco for the season. That is ok though, the ambiance inside the restaurant is quaint and warm.
A great neighborhood spot.

My partner and I live in Andersonville and frequent LaTache about every other week. With the addition of their new head chef, the food is absolutely wonderful. We're starting to see new specials. I had the rabbit dish last night and it was awesome! There was banana bread pudding dessert on the menu that I would have loved to try, but I was so full after the main course... and, of course, the lyonnaise salad prior. I will continue to go to La Tache and I find the pricing very reasonable. Also, Sunday brunch hasn't been totally discovered yet and I feel it's one of the best in the neighborhood.

Warning #1 that this is not authentic French food: "La tache" in French means "the stain." The manner in which it means "the spot" is not "it's a good spot" but more "you have a spot on your shirt."
Still, while this place was always overpriced, they used to have a killer Croque Monsieur, a great green salad, and a solid steak frites. We went tonight and were aghast. The green salad was about ten leaves, the steak was jaw-droppingly bad, and the presentation was abysmal - the steak sat alone in the middle of a white plate with a dish of exceptionally bad peppercorn sauce on the side.
If we want overpriced French food, we at least want it to be good . . .
We won't go back.

Great food, great atmosphere, and great wine. I love $6 martinis on Wednesday. Way better than other nearby martini bars. Hot bartenders.

twas just about the worst dining experience we have ever had from rude personnel to faux french food. Au Bon Pain is more authentic.
