Famous caterers and all-around-nice guys Dan Smith and Steve McDonagh (Hearty Boys catering; Food Network's "Party Line with the Hearty Boys") wanted to figure out a way to be TV show hosts, keep their catering business going, interact with their fans, and oh yeah, have a life, too. They think they've found a solution: cooking karaoke. In addition to being the headquarters for their catering operations, the space also serves as a closed-circuit TV studio where you can unleash your inner Rachel Ray. Get a group together (12 people minimum) and you'll each get a quick tutorial and insider tips on how to cook on the air -- and then it's show time! You even get a souvenir DVD to take home. The concept is perfect for showers, corporate events and team building outings. (The space, however, can be rented for a non-taped party as well.) Another idea: Take Grandma here so you can make a professional DVD of her as she makes her famous recipes.
