Grandma Sally's: Good food with a smile gets you through the day

Overall rating:

I had breakfast at grandma sallys at the start of a busy day. The moment I walked in, I felt like I was with friends (who really knew how to cook). I greeted with a smile and seated quickly. I was served by friendly people, and the food was great. Highly recommend the Apple Pancake. Tops on my list. I'll be back again and again.

The name of the restaurant is Grandma Sally, so if you want a hearty, tasty meal, just like gramma used to make, then this is the place to eat. The menu is huge, so you will always find something to eat. From big breakfast, to juicy burgers, to the daily specials, you will always find something good. Everything is homemade, so if want to take a break from the microwaved meals at TGI Fridays and Applebee's, this is the place to visit.

What a place, I think this was stuck in a time warp.
Very old and dated decor and the staff seemed to match.
Gosh there are so many other better places to eat and drink in Naperville, personally I would avoid this if possible.
The food is as tasteless as it gets!!!

Diner with many choices

Grandma Sally's is a pretty standard diner. It has really good breakfast daily lunch specials and dinner menu items. The portions are really big that I often take half of my food home for another meal. If you have a smaller appetite, then order a short stack of pancakes or share an omlette with somebody. Grandma Sally's is good for what it is, a traditional American diner.

This place sucks! The food is greasy and plain. I don't think they know what seasonings are. There is no seperation between the non smoking and smoking section. You can smell the smoke throughout the restaurant and you leave smelling like an ashtray, even at breakfast.

You cannot find the food quality in all of Naperville. This family owned establishment has fresh daily specials. You cannot beat their breakfast entrees. You have to a "trooper" to finish one of breakfast specials. I don't think I ever walked into Grandma Sally's and not satisfied.
