Michael and Doug Dunlay, the cousins behind Dunlays on the Square, Dunlays on Clark, Smoke Daddy and D.O.C. Wine Bar have opened Frasca in west Lakeview. The casual Italian-inspired restaurant and wine bar features a showy wood-burning oven and a 35-seat bar fitted with river-rock, and there's both booth and banquette seating. On the menu: wood-seared filet mignon with a gorgonzola crust; Roman-style crepes with spinach, ricotta and spicy tomato sauce; and a "Capone" pizza with wood-roasted onions, fennel sausage and provolone cheese.
