This eatery ROCKS!! The food was terrific! Everything was fresh, colorful and flavorful. Don't be bummed by the decor; it's simple and down-to-earth - it's not a sparklie ZSA ZSA "look at me" kind of place. It's a great place for vegatarians, vegans, and meatlovers. Everything from pancakes, steaks, tofu & kale. Prices were very reasonable - good portions too! I will definitely return. It's my new Fav! Kiss the cook!!

I have lived just down the road from the Flying Saucer and I can honestly say thank god it's in this hood.
Granted some of the people walking outside the place are sorta shady... once you are inside you it's a whole new ball game.
The Australian owner and company is great. I would recommend the Breakfast Sampler or the Trucker's Bowl. Both insta-great meals.
Your coffee is always full and hot....
No complaints. 5 stars. *****

This is the best breakfast place in the city. No lines, no annoying people coming in from Lincoln Park, and the food is absolutely great. Try the coconut pancakes if they have them on special.

Please oh please bring back the dancing dinner hours. This was my favorite spot to go for dinner in the city. amazing tofu dishes, great soups, coffee, music. We loved the staff. Please oh please.

This is a great neighborhood spot. Never had a prob w/ the service and the food is always good. They did change the hours tho...now open 7 days a week but only until 3pm so maybe call ahead.

My ex-neighborhood brunch spot. After giving them plenty of chances to get it right, the terrible service, lack of seasoning, and the hoard of hungover hipsters drove me away.
