I contacted the restaurant ahead of time to see if they could accommodate my child's food allergies and was assured that they had an expansive menu and would be able to feed her, since it was a common request. At brunch, I talked to our waitress, she talked to the kitchen, and my daughter ended up with a side of turkey and a bowl of fruit, the only safe thing on the menu. I was not happy and felt like they told me what I wanted to hear just to get me in the door. We stayed because we were hungry and she needed to eat, but we will most likely not be taking her back there again.

This place has a sort of small menu, but the majority of the things on it are delicious. The waitstaff is always great, and the food comes quickly. I definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for some decent grub in the square.

Why the waitstaff ask how you want your burger cooked is beyond me. Whether you ask for medium, medium-well, or even well-done, the result is always the same. Fried outer crust with pink (dare I say raw) center that is deplorably unappetizing. How anyone can screw up a burger that bad is beyond me. Add to which the service is deplorable, arrogant and very lame at the same time. At least the former Boulevard Cafe had live music.

I really do enjoy this place, it has a light, yet filling menu. I've only been there three times and have been wonderfully pleased each time. The wait staff is nice and attentive too! (A change from every other Chicago restaurant) Not at all like an applebee's or tgi Fridays. I highly suggest you visit this place!

Had brunch today, and I had the best sandwich I've ever had, the fried egg sandwich. Perfect hangover food with some super cheesy hash browns. Good bloody's, and my service was pretty good.
Report This ReviewWhat a terribly run place! The staff and management are both arrogant, and don't know how to talk to the locals. What were the owners thinking putting this pretentious Lincoln Park place in Logan Square? If I'm going to spend $18 on an entree, I'll go to Lula where the food is amazing, and the people are friendly. I will never spend my money at Dunlays again.
Report This ReviewBottom line, if the food were amazing, it might make it worth returning. But the fact is, it's mediocre at best. A bit baove a Fridays or Applebee's, but less ambiance and much less of a neighborhood bar. The decor is stark and uninviting, and the service is terrible and rude. If I wanted a rude and dismissive attitude from my bartender, I'd rather go to Ed Debevicks. So not Logan Square, soooo not worth your money.
Report This ReviewGreat atmosphere and decent food but the terrible service completely ruined the dining experience. Our waitress paid no attention to us and my bloody mary didnt come out until after i was finished with my meal. It was busy, but definitely not as hectic as other places for sunday brunch on a gorgeous chicago day. As a waitress for several years i undertand that certain things are out of ones control, but for the first time in my life, i didnt leave a tip.
Report This ReviewHad a great breakfast there sunday. It was really busy, but still had decent service. The eggs flo was killer. Had a good time will return for dinner.
Report This ReviewOne of the best atmosphere's in Logan Square. Average to good food, but service needs improvement during peak times. 30 minutes to clean dinner plates and ask for dessert was unacceptable. Will consider returning, but will sit at the bar area and eat. Quicker service. Same menu.
