The folks behind Dunlays on Clark have opened a second eatery in the former Boulevard Cafe location in Logan Square. The Dunlays completely gutted the space, restoring the long-neglected tin ceiling and original '30s bar (from the former Bismarck Hotel), plus have added retractable glass doors that will open onto the sidewalk cafe in the warmer weather. The bar area has a handful of flatscreen TVs with a sports focus. The casual American grill offers a made-from-scratch philosophy, and the menu's budget-friendly (nothing over $20). The menu's similar to the Lincoln Park location with choices like wood-fired gourmet pizzas, burgers, wild mushroom meatloaf, maple-cured pork tenderloin and grilled Idaho trout.
