There's plenty of temptation at Deerfield's Cafe, located in the middle of a bakery with a huge selection of French pastries, cheesecake tarts and jelly rolls. The cafe is always busy during lunch, as people pack in for grilled sandwiches, soup, pasta salads and the excellent tossed salad. It's even crazier before work as locals grab coffee cakes, donuts and muffins from the huge breakfast bar. While you might feel guilty about the calories if you grab a pastry to-go, you don't have to feel bad about the price -- there's over 40 mini pastries available for less than $1.
