Easter Brunch
By clk from Naperville, April 14, 2009

Overall rating:

Probably the worst Brunch ever
These people should do some research before offering a Brunch for $29.95 per person
The quality of the food offered was as poor as ever seen in a restaurant
We will NEVER visit this place again

Overpriced for Average Food

I like their lunch salads, but we went to dinner last night and were really disappointed. The fish (salmon and grouper) was good, but unexceptional. The so called vegetable, was undercooked, unseasoned broccoli. I ate it because I love vegetables, but I cook a lot of vegetables at home and this broccoli would never see the table. For the prices charged at Catch 35, I expect some originality and seasoning in the vegetables. We ate lunch at a roadside tavern in Wisconsin a couple days ago and the quality of the food and presentation was similar. I thought the tavern was great at $20 for two of us. Catch 35 would be a 4 star restaurant at half the price. At the prices it charges, it needs to do much better.

My girlfriend and I both think this is the best restaurant in Chicagoland. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The seared ahi tuna is amazing!

Excellent Food and Service - We will be back
By Davey from Western Suburbs, November 29, 2007

Last Sunday we had a very good relaxing dinner at Catch35. We enjoyed a fine Cabernet wine with dinner. I had their Scallops appetizer special, Crab Bisque soup, and sauteed Halibut with Crabmeat which were all excellent. My wife had the stir-fried Shrimp with Asparagus which was also excellent. Our server Michael was attentive and had good recommendations. For dessert we chose the Peppermint Gelato which was 3 small scoops served in a small bowl with a Rasberry and mint leaf for color. The entire meal was $100 for two, which I thought was very reasonable in Naperville for the quality of food and service we received. Very enjoyable, we will be back.

A Winner All the Time
By Naperville Resident from Naperville, September 22, 2007

I have been to this restaurant over 40 times and to the one downtown several times. Each time I visit, I have a terrific experience. And, everyone I have brought with me has raved about the place. This is truly one of my favorite restaurants for the food, drinks, service and value. The avocado salsa swordfish is my personal favorite but every meal I have ate or anyone else with me has eaten has been very good. The best is there chocolate mouse in a caramalized basket. I wish they served the mouse year round instead of only during the cold months.

Went there several times within a one year period. Each time the food was outstanding and the service very gracious and very knowledgeable. The menu has a wide variety of food with a great price range and each meal is very reasonably priced. The only "complaint" we may have were two very large parties in the main dining room the last time we went there (giving speeches and rather loud toasts) but the host seemed to go out of his way to seat us at a very nice booth far away. So we still did very much enjoy our dinner.

We've been to catch 35 approximatley 4 times. Each time has been pretty good, with the last time the best. The Martini's were made better than usual, and the Sea Bass and Ribeye were excellent. Our waiter, "Larry", was also great. Have to check it out at least once.....

Went here because of a 20 percent coupon showed up in a Naperville book. Loved it! Food was outstanding all three times we have eaten here and our servers were all impeccable. Tastes were familiar yet surprising--with things like orange zest and sweet soy in the ingredients. The prices at lunch were reasonable especially when you added the coupon. Would recommend it highly. One downside--they need to empty their dumpster more often. It stinks to walk by it especially in summer. Maybe all restaurants have this problem, but with seafood you can smell it two blocks away.
