Caliterra's open kitchen claims an entire corner of the room with its multi-burner stove tops, woks, grills and brick oven. Awash in copper and reddish wood, the area sizzles and smokes while the dining room hums with conversation and piano music from the baby grand by the bar. Seating is plush. A secluded room across from the kitchen serves as a wine room and a place for private events. Hidden behind glass panes etched with wine-country images is a large table that can seat up to 20. In the bar, a pianist NOOOO holds court during cocktail hour, and two TVs keep folks connected to the sports scene.
