This Uptown venture is operated by the nonprofit Inspiration Corporation, which also runs the Inspiration Cafe and the Living Room Cafe. The menu features globally inflected American contemporary fare such as spicy chicken wontons, jerk chicken salad and coconut curry shrimp. The airy interior is decked out in warm colors with bamboo flooring, exposed brick and stretched fabric on the ceiling. The morning breakfast menu includes quiche, fruit parfaits, and commuter-friendly sandwiches such as the Red Line: scrambled eggs, chicken sausage and cheddar cheese sandwiched between a couple of pancakes.
