This cozy bakery/cafe/restaurant in the heart of Lincoln Square's commercial center began with its wide selection of bakery treats and light meals in 1983. The extensive pastry selection still tempts as you enter the front door on Lincoln Avenue, but patrons can now dine in for Sunday brunch, lunch and dinner. The lunch menu includes soups, salads and sandwiches. Dinner specials have included wild mushroom crostini and a Great Lakes walleye. The dining room is colorful and roomy, with high ceilings. The outdoor patio with umbrella tables offers a relaxed setting in warm months.
