This is easily the worst restaurant we have eaten at in several years. We went on a weekend evening and looked over the special menu with cheesy pictures of the specials. My husband got one of the specials, which was edible, but nothing special. I ordered a hamburger because nothing else looked very good. The burger was cooked on a griddle and the middle was raw. It was so bad that I didn't even want them to cook it further. The waitress was very nice and they did credit us the price of the burger. The restaurant is around the corner from our house, but we will never go there again. Too bad. I have never written a Metormix review and waited several months to post this, but just saw the 5 star rating and was completely dismayed. Avoid at all cost.

Logan Square has something very special in there neighborhood and that's Cafe Bella! I've been there several times for lunch and dinner and they know how to deliver!! Quality gourmet food made to order! no short cuts and everything cooked in an open kitchen. From there coffee's to there sandwiches to there awesome dinner menu this place by far out performs any other restaurant in Logan Sqaure and rivals all the big time restaurants in the Loop! If your looking for a super good deal, this is the place! Beautiful, Clean, Friendly and best of all the food!!! wow! I'm very happy they exist! George

I went out of my way to pick up a sandwich from here after reading the reviews. I had the Carribean Chicken Sandwich, which was very good. I decided to try the veggie pasta as the side instead of chips. The pasta side was bland and I didn't eat it. I would go for the chips next time, but I always give a restaurant a chance on anything made in-house over bought. Anyway, if you live nearby or happen to pass by definitely a good sandwich. I wouldn't go out of my way again, but it is good for those of you close. My total was $6.56 - not bad at all.

Great dining experience. I ordered the bella cheeseburger with the pasta primavera as a side. It was the best burger ever, great taste and great value. Definitely going back during the weekend for steak =)

My mom, sister and I popped in to take a break from wedding dress shopping and it was a plesant break from the cold. We all got sandwhiches and soup and drinks for under $25. Very charming place with excellent food. Definitely recommend hitting it up.

Had a wonderful experience! the food and service was perfect. So happy to have something like this in Logan Square! I suggest to go now that it's quiet cause this place will be a jammed packed place pretty soon!

loved it!! i had a graised lamb shank for dinner last night!! exotic and very tasty!! I've been there a few times already and i have to say that this place is going to explode once Chicago finds out about this place!!! All there sandwiches are gourmet style and come with a side of pasta instead of fries. There tag is "gourmet healthy eating" there sandwiches are filled with roasted veggie ingredients and all there sandwich are all under $6!! i just which they were a lil bit bigger.. they also have great regular drip coffee and expresso that rivals starbucks easily!! There a quick serve cafe so you order at the countertop and the server brings out your plate. They are byob and free wifi.. Superb addittion to the neighborhood!! Logan Square should be proud to have a place like this!! it's much needed and made me actually re-new my lease to my apartment! I highly recommened this place if your looking for great food, coffee and still save a buck in your pocket!

Visited Cafe Bella on a week night, and enjoyed three people having dinner, plus an appetizer all for $26! The BYOB is great. We all shared a trio of guacamole (mango, apple & grape), very good. We all had either sandiwiches or wraps: tuna, steak & chicken and we all finished our plates. The weekend homemade dinner menu sounded great. Cesar, (chef/owner?) was really nice and surprised us with a dessert sampling plate.
We will definitely be back!

I went there for lunch today, and I must say that the food is good. It's not over priced and is a decent quality. I think it's caught between an order at the counter type place and a sit down cafe - I saw a waitress but most people were ordering at the counter.
I also got a cup of coffee (in a real cup), which was small and I didn't see that cream or sugar was available. I feel that they should have those items out somewhere. The coffee was good enough that I really didn't need cream or sugar.
Its great to see a place like this on Fullerton in Logan Square. It's casual, good priced, and good quality. I think I will start going and bringing my newspaper to read there.
I think since Cafe Bella is new, it has some kinks, but once those are worked out this will be a great place.
