Boka

Boka is a welcome departure from the typical Lincoln Park neighborhood joint, offering an ambitious menu created by executive chef Giuseppe Tentori (ex Charlie Trotter's). Starters include crispy veal sweetbreads and a seasonal selection of oysters – like Kumamoto, Malpeque and Pickle Point -- served with a radish mignonette. Entrees change frequently; recent offerings included black sesame-crusted salmon with green tea noodles, shiitake mushrooms, cauliflower and soy emulsion, and a beef tenderloin with fried ceci gnocchi, salsify-sunchoke pave and chanterelle mushrooms.
