This intriguing Wicker Park spot has one of the longest names in town, but don't let that dissuade you from venturing inside the lush, secluded space. Besides, there's a lot to explain. It's both a restaurant, open in the early evening and on Sundays for brunch, and a late-night lounge complete with sexy chillout music and a deep red and pink color scheme. And "Boutique" refers to "boutique plates." What the heck are those, you ask? Uh, we're not sure, but they sound like small(ish) plates. Former executive chef Radhika "Rad" Desai, a contestant on season 5 of Bravo's "Top Chef" put this place on the map in 2008. These days, Noah Sandoval, whose style leans more contemporary American than Desai's, is at the helm. Expect a seasonal menu of sharable plates like venison carpaccio with arugula, peach, rosemary and juniper; Brussels sprouts with tempeh, pickled vegetables and sherry butter; and pork belly with mustard demi-glace and bok choy. Creative cocktails are also a focus, especially as the evening wears on.
