Between Boutique Cafe and Lounge
- Neighborhood: Bucktown/Wicker Park
- 1324 N. Milwaukee Ave.

- Price range: $$$ ($16-$25)
This intriguing Wicker Park spot has one of the longest names in town, but don't let that dissuade you from venturing inside the lush, secluded space. Besides, there's a lot to explain. It's both a restaurant, open in the early evening and on Sundays for brunch, and a late-night lounge complete with sexy chillout music and a deep red and pink color scheme. And "Boutique" refers to "boutique plates." What the heck are those, you ask? Think of them like small(ish) plates. Creative cocktails are also a focus, especially as the evening wears on. Former executive chef Radhika "Rad" Desai, a contestant on season 5 of Bravo's "Top Chef" put this place on the map in 2008, but post-"Top Chef," she's out of the kitchen.
