Amber: User Reviews
We went last week with a party of 8, as we have done in the past many times.
However, the service was nothing like what it had been in the past. Our drinks took
almost a half an hour to get, and our entrees, much longer. They were not that crowded so they couldn't use that excuse. No fresh pepper brought with the salad - even after we asked for it, and the only thing they had to appease us during the long waits was
plenty of bread. (I must have had 6 peices, the wait for food was soooo long!)
I figured that they pulled their waitstaff and put them at "Topaz", thus the lack of waitstaff at
this, their sister restaurant Amber! Don't know if we will return, too bad, it had always
been one of our faves!

Service was sub-par. We had at least three different people approach us. This was a weeknight. The individual who read the specials never came back to take our order...I think it was the owner who noticed and took our order for entrees. Ahi Tuna appetizer was bland and not the freshest. Entrees were average and not exceptional which was what I was expecting for the price. The ambiance & decor are very nice. Probably a good place to go for a bottle of wine outside.

Amber is a wonderful place all around! The food is absolutely supurb, the owner is gracious, the ambiance is very cool and friendly. Your sure to have a great evening at Embrace. I wonder what the other reviewer was expecting but we've NEVER had anything but an incredible meal there! It is costly but your getting what you pay for!
