Our favorite Chinese rest in the area. Food is excellent. Atmosphere is average. Sometimes there is not enough help. The owner is great and always says hello. They now have a full bar. Order the Bobo appetizer platter. Generous portions. Great value.

My boyfriend & I literally call Tai San "our place" because we go there so often. We had a mix of Chinese, Japanese, Thai, sushi, everything. The hibachhi side is a lot of fun, and just as good as Benihana's, but less expensive. And oddly enough, the smoothies are amazing!! (made with real fruit). We really like it here, everything is delicious. I'd really recommend going here if you're in the mood for Asian food at a great price! :)

I've had the priviliege of seeing this restaurant grow from 1 storefront to 3 in the past few years. Their service and food is wonderful. One of my kids is addicted to their smoothies with tapioca balls. The recent addition of the hibachis and sushi bar makes this a must-visit.

I never thought I'd find an amazing sushi/thai place in the middle of a strip mall in Darien, Illinois. But this place is amazing. I have had sushi from San Francisco to Chicago to New York to Florida and this place competes with them all. Extremely fresh ingredients, large portions (as far as the Thai food goes), and great fusion of ingredients to create mouhwatering original tastes. I would highly recommend it to all.

I can't believe this place was in our own backyard for over four years and we didn't know it. The food and service were excellent. We had a shrimp entree that was loaded with big, juicy high quality shrimp and I couldn't believe the price. My daughter had sushi and loved it. What a variety...Thai, Chinese, Sushi and more. This is a great family place and an outstanding value. We will make this our weekly Chinese restaurant!

We were looking for a Thai restaurant closer to home and this was a double plus! Chinese and Thai and they deliver and are close to our home. They also have great lunch and dinner specials. Service was great and the prices were awesome. The manager brought us a complimentary Chicken on Stick appetizer which was even better than the Chicken Satay. We loved the egg rolls and the Pad See Eiw was great. My husband liked the General Tao's Chicken (although I can't eat spicy). We are from the north side of Chicago and moved out to Woodridge 2 1/2 years ago and haven't found a restaurant we would like to frequent when we are in an Asian food mood. Finally! And the place is clean, a nice ambiance and roomy.

It's so inexpensive and yummy. I didn't particularly like the Thai on the menu, but the Chinese food is great. The people are nice and the food is prepared quickly.

This place deserves a four in every category; the food is delicious (they have the best Pad Thai), the atmosphere is clean and inviting, the service is very good (I've been offered free soup or egg rolls a couple of times), and it is all affordable, for dinner or lunch.
Report This ReviewThe Chinese cuisine in this area had taken a serious downturn until we found this place. The food is excellent from appetizers to the end with almond cookies and fortune cookies. The chicken egg roll is possibly the best I have ever eaten...crisp vegetables with moist chicken and no oily taste whatsoever. The crab rangoons were also tasty. Hot and sour soup was simple but very delicious. Kung Pao chicken was a hit with us...a little on the mild side but fresh and the sauce was very good without being too thick or overpowering.
The decor is fresh and balanced...lime green walls with oak floors and full length glass storefront lets the sunshine into the rooms.
We will be back soon!
Report This ReviewGreat Chinese AND Thai food. You'd think a restaurant that serves two types of cuisine may be lacking, but both are very good here. We recently moved from the city and were pining for chinese and thai food and found both at one place! Highly recommended.
