Excellent

My niece and I dined during at this location in late June and we love it. The food and service was excellent. We will definitely visit this location again. We had made a reservation in advance and we only had to wait about 15 minutes for our table.

Much Recommended Restaurant
By rebelwithacause from Rogerspark, April 18, 2009

This is a great restaurant to bring friends or family for an outing in the city. The food is great and the restaurant looks good. I recommend the lettuce wraps for sure! They also have incredibly delicious dessert shots for only 2 dollars a piece. I never spend extra money on appetizers and desserts, but this place is an exception.

Food was very salty or overly sweet. The server mixed soy sauce, hot sauce, and the mustard sauce and called it "special sauce", which I found hilarious. The decor is not bad, but the food is just terrible and expensive!! The food tasted worse than some microwaveable Chinese food...pls save your money and time and do not check it out. I wish someone would have told me about this sooner but let me save you 1.5 hrs and $50.

We were seated at table that seemed to be in the middle of the aisle with the most traffic in the restaurant! This would have been tolerable if the food was good. It wasn't BAD, but definitely not good either.

Worst experience I have had...
By TIFFANY from CHICAGO, IL, February 17, 2006

Overall rating:

Worst experience I have had at a restaurant in Chicago. We sat for 20 minutes at a table at the bar when we arrived and were never served. The dirty drinks were not even cleared off of the table. Our server did not come to the table for 15 minutes, spilled vinegar on my purse, and messed up the order. It took about 30 minutes to get the bill after we finished eating and there was never an apology. Definitely will not go back or recommend for anyone. The P.F. Changs in the suburbs provided far better service.

A group of 6 of us went here on a Wednesday night. After telling us it would be 45 min wait, we waited for 1 and half hour and watched people who came after us seated. The manager was very dismissive of us, and we left after waiting for an hour and half and not being seated, and being treated rudely.

By Jennifer from chicago, il, July 21, 2005

I think the honey shrimp, lettuce wraps, and chocolate cake are absolutely delicious. A previous reviewer said Big Bowl was better, but after trying honey shrimp at Big Bowl, I must disagree. Big Bowl's honey shrimp lacked in taste, and the shrimp were not deveined very well.

The perfect dining-out place in Chicago!! PF Chang's had it all. We had the lettuce wraps (a MUST when you go there...and load on the special sauce!), the orange peel chicken (would've been better if it wasn't fried, but DELICIOUS!), and the steamed veges (large portion and nice and FRESH!). Our host was very friendly and wanted us to be happy...which we couldn't help but be! Oh...and the "Great Wall of Chocolate" cake was to die for...served warm and soft with delicious, thick & creamy strawberry puree. If like Chinese food PF Chang's will be your favorite place to get it! I've been recommending it to EVERYONE I KNOW! :)

The food we had was exceptionally tasteless. Big Bowl has much better food based on my experience.
