This casual family-owned eatery recently sits just north of the busy intersection Ashland and Fullerton Avenues. Featuring exposed brick walls, soothing hues of green, the spot has an open mezzanine seating area that overlooks the main dining room. Clubby beats provide background music, and there are three bar area TVs for those who can't miss the game. The broad Pan-Asian menu features Thai, Japanese, Chinese and even a few Vietnamese dishes. Customer favorites include spring rolls, fish cakes, pad Thai, Mongolian beef, Bangkok chicken and curry fried rice. There are a handful of sushi and sashimi combinations, and nigiri sushi is sold by the piece. The volcano maki roll with smoked salmon, salmon skin, unagi, avocado, mayo, masago and spicy sauce is a best-seller.
