I agree with the other reviewers that they do have good chicken wings. However, that's the only good thing going for this place. The other food are ok, have had better in other restaurants.
I want to rant about their awful customer service. I was there last night with a bunch of friends, enjoying the chicken wings, catching up, having a good o'l time. The waitresses kept bugging us if we were done with our dishes, seemed like they were in a hurry to kick us out of the place. I would understand if they are really pack and people are waiting for our table, but the place was almost empty! So we paid our bill, and the waitress pointed out that they only accept tips in cash. Last time I check, gratuity is gratuity...no matter where it came from...so I don't understand why I couldn't add it in my bank card with a visa logo!
This is the last slap on the face....it was 9:40pm, there were still other people (about 2 or 3 more tables other than ours)...and the waitstaff turned off the lights in their kitchen/bar area. They were all standing and looking like their agitated. One old man, I assumed is either the owner or the manager said, "Ok, it's late...go home...we are tired." WOW....we couldn't believe we were hearing that. They had the audacity to treat us like that after we've spent money on the darn place. It was 9:40 p.m...I can understand if it was like 10:30pm. I have never encountered that with any places that I've dined in. Very appalling experience. The good chicken wings doesn't even justify this kind of treatment that they give to customers. Shame on them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh my GOD this place is amazing! I've been going here since I was I was in grade school! The BEST chicken wings in the world (almost every patron will have them on the table) and the noodles in black bean sauce and mapo tofu are awesome. Staff is always super nice and appreciative. It gets super crowded- sometimes a line out the door (if you try their wings you'll know why!). Go to this place NOW if you haven't been there!
Report This ReviewBest Chicken Wings in Town! I've been going here for years and in fact this was were I took my now wife for our first dinenr date - she loved the wings as well! The Korean noodles with black bean sauce is good also. Eveything else on the menu is just okay - but the wings are worth the trip. Like others have said - service is poor.
Report This ReviewIts funny the older reviews are totally on point. I've been coming to this restaurant since the early 90's. The food is extremely good. Service is horrible. The dining room is small but still nice. The door location brings in a draft that chills the entire room. Waitresses work only on tips here, so you have cash tip. Waitstaff needs to be taught how to be nice and attentive. They don't refill your water or bring napkins when needed. I've gone entire meals, only to leave and buy a drink on the corner, from choking thirst. The Gan Pong Ki (Hot spicy chicken wings)here are the best in the midwest. Appetizers aren't so awesome. Drink water and have a coke when you leave, they give those tiny glasses here. Better yet, get carry out. You'll love the food. Doesn't matter whether you are korean or not, asian or not, or can speak korean or not, stinky service just rules here.
Report This ReviewThe best wings in the US, and I live only a few blocks away. Forget other wannabees. Get a couple of trays to go and you'll be set. I'm eating a tray of the hot stuff right now. Odd thing though, except for the mongolian beef, I've never ordered anything else since 1993, and I order there every other week.
