Lagniappe
- South bank of the Chicago River, at Dearborn Street and Wacker Drive
- 55 W. Riverwalk South
- Chicago, IL 60601
- 312-726-7716
- Price range: $$ ($9-$15)
This seasonal Riverwalk spot decorated to look like a bayou shack is an offshoot of Auburn Gresham’s Lagniappe Creole Cajun Joynt. The menu includes dishes such as Cajun chicken wings and waffles (here they're called "wangs" and waffles), jambalaya, fried green tomatoes, blackened chicken and po'boys. There's table service and a waitstaff, but as at all Riverwalk spots, plastic tableware is the norm.
