Heaven on Seven on Rush

Neighborhood: River North
600 N. Michigan Ave.

Chicago, IL 60611
312-280-7774
This Heaven on Seven (the original is in the Loop) has a Michigan Avenue address but you get to it through the building's entrance on Rush Street and up the escalator, which also leads to a multiplex cinema. The restaurant's zydeco music spills out into this otherwise charmless mall, luring diners inside for a Cajun-Creole meal in an environment meant to simulate a bayou roadhouse. Those familiar with the original should expect the same combination of fiery food and reasonable prices.
