Located on a corner of what was once home to the city's legendary blues club district, this contemporary American spot with a Cajun/Creole accent is one of the newer additions to the Chicago's revitalized Bronzeville neighborhood. On the menu: whimsical appetizers like grilled chicken "lollipops"; shrimp dejonghe; and potato goat cheese croquette. Among the entrees: crab-and-spinach-stuffed fried catfish prepared with a Creole beurre blanc sauce; grilled pork chops with coconut rum and caramelized pineapple sauce; and wasabi-glazed salmon. Other options: grilled lamb chops; and prime rib steak frites. The interior offers modern minimalist elegance while still being warm and welcoming. The lounge features Thursday night jazz performances. Call for performers.
