Family-owned by the Mourousias family for 20 years, White Alps offers steakhouse-quality food at diner prices. The menu is all encompassing: Breakfast is served all day, and lunch and dinner hours brings the requisite sandwiches, salads and burgers, plus as Greek items such as pastitio and Greek chicken, German items like rouladen and lots of specials. One day you might like sea bass with balsamic vinaigrette, a homey pepper steak, dolmades or falling-off-the-bone barbecue ribs. The steaks and chops are cut on premises, and there's also a huge kids' menu.
