The Counter serves burgers galore, but it’s not your run-of-the-mill fast food joint. The chain, headquartered in Culver City, Calif., offers casual dining and more than 312,000 burger combinations. That's right: more than 312,000. Don't worry--the menu's not 25,000 pages long. You custom build your burger, choosing from three sizes of beef, chicken, turkey and veggie patties, plus 10 cheeses, 26 toppings, 17 sauces and three types of buns. There’s even a burger in a bowl, served on greens sans bun. Overwhelmed yet? There’s more. Check out the burger-of-the-month and the lineup of signature burgers, which includes creations such as the Taco Turkey, with jalapeno-jack cheese, lettuce, scallions, dried cranberries and spicy sour cream.
