Great service but.

I've been here twice so far, and I think the second time was a mistake already. The food is terribly mediocre and the drinks are quite bad, especially the special drinks on the menu. The TV's seem a little out of place in this restaurant, but it didn't unduly distract me. The service was excellent on both of my visits, however. The server smiled, was attentive to the table, and generally very nice.

I love this restaurant...the service I had was excellent. The server brought out my burger, which had the wrong cheese. I did not mind but the server insisted he take it back. I thought that was great, and I felt like he really cared about my expirience there! It has a great atmosphere and it is the perfect place to go if you want to feel fabulous about eating a cheeseburger. I will continue to go back again and again. :)

Super Terrible!

This place has really bad energy all the way around. Not one friendly staff member. I saw not one person smile the entire time we had dinner. Our waitress was rude and curt with our small group and the food is disgusting. I will not go back and I highly recommend that you don't waste time or money. There are much better places in this neighborhood.

We went there 2 times, first time we had awful service. Our waitress was not attentive, but when confronted she said she is working very long hours between her 2 jobs. I don't care, I want food and service if I am paying $10 for a hamburger and fries. Second time, it was just OK. We ordered some margaritas, first one was peach-it was awful, and too strong. I got tipsy after just one. Then my husband ordered raspberry margarita, and it was wacky. Its just overpriced, mediocre food, and average service. I don't think I will go back. Like previous reviewer said, there are better places just 2 block south.

Great Place for a Great Burger...

Tonight was my first experience at Hamburger Mary's, and it was awesome! I had the best burger (Big Kahuna Burger) anywhere, for the first time, in a long time, the service was very good as well. This is a place for everyone and I will probably be back again this week!

We were very disappointed in the service, the way the place looks, and the dry burgers. We thought the price a bit higher than a much better place for burgers just 2 blocks south, Charlie's Ale House.

I was in tonight with a couple of co-workers and I must say the hamburgers were great!! I was pleased as were my co-workers. One of us had the mini burgers ("These are GREAT") one of us had the Boy Bleu Burger ("This is good") I had the Mushroom burger... it was Great. I must say that the atmosphere in the restaurant is very relaxed and i wasnt sure who the servers were.. they had on street clothes... I wasn't a fan of that tho. I would have liked to see some kind of a dress code or something. But for what Hamburger Mary's is, I would all encourage you all to try it!!!

Service with a smile? I...

Service with a smile? I never see servers smilling anymore! but I did last night at hamburger marys. Our server was never stopped smiling, was informative and friendly and continued to make sure we had everything we needed even after we paid the check and just sat to hang out for a while. I never got his name, but he had a cool pair of glasses and beard. when I told him we'd be back he said, i'm looking forward to it and i think he really meant it. great service! can't wait to go back.

Ehh, food has always been satisfactory, though never stellar. The vibe is alright, service has generally been pretty good too. I live in the neighborhood and still go there every now and again, so it can't be that bad. People giving it the really bad reviews must have had one particularly horrible experience, or they are too picky. Worth a visit, but don't expect miracles.
