Mississippi native Leon, Finney, Sr. started the business with his aunt in 1940, and the Finney family is still dishing up the 'cue today. This location has been around since 1972, and Leon Jr. tells us the secret recipes used are the same ones that his father and Great Aunt Bertha came up with some 65 years ago. Leon Sr., who will be 89 in 2005, still makes daily appearances at the restaurants, and his sons and daughters are all involved in the business. Specialties include hickory-smoked spareribs, rib tips and hot links, all served with Leon's tangy-sweet barbecue sauce.

the food is too greasy the hot links were not cooked enough although the bargins are good they could do a lot better
