This is the flagship, location of the Chicago area chain that started in Skokie in 1977. While waiting for your table, you may either watch sports on the televisions in the large bar or scan the hundreds of autographed photos of sports, media and entertainment personalities decorating the walls. The ribs are smoked with natural hickory and are the chewy variety. The secret is in the barbecue sauce. (For takeout call 800-GET- RIBS.)

Carson's Is Average Place for ribs. There sauce that they use is a little strong and sour. But I give it Two Stars. A little Hight Priced for 4 BBQ...
