The restaurant is from David Gevercer, owner of the Matchbox, and features seating in a rehabbed 1947 railroad dining car. (The restaurant takes its name from the ACL Railroad's Chicago-to-Florida run.)
The primarily American menu features dishes with railroad-inspired names: Southern Pacific Railways double ginger duck (braised duck with fresh and candied ginger) and the Seaboard Airline Railroad's shrimp and scallop po' boy (deep-fried with pickled green tomatoes and Cajun remoulade).
The bar boasts an extensive selection of bourbon, scotch and tequila, while the international wine list features several by-the-glass options.
