An American theme runs through all aspects of the restaurant inside Hotel Monaco, from the menus, which include quotes from notable Americans, to the 100-percent-American wine list. Even the bar menu offers cocktails named after U.S. highways (as well as seasonal specialty cocktails and 22 wines by the glass). The straightforward dinner menu, updated seasonally, offers classic entrees from the heartland; a tavern menu offers smaller plates, sandwiches and brick-oven pizzas. At lunch, look for some seasonal options alongside a lineup of sandwiches, salads and popular "TV dinners." Breakfast features traditional fare with some down-home twists, and brunch is served both Saturday and Sunday.
