The folks at Charlie's claim their year-round, heated beer garden, with its beautiful ivy covering the walls, is the best in the city. The cherry wood bar inside is more than a century old and the booths in the cozy dining room are also made of cherry wood. Dinner choices include pot roast, meatloaf and chicken pot pie; entrees are reasonably priced. There are 24 beers on tap, one of which is Charlie's own ale, plus 40 bottled beers. There's also a weekend brunch with choices like French toast, waffles and eggs Benedict.

One day i was hungry, and I went to Charlie's on Webster. I sat outside and that was nice. I ate and after that i wasn't hungry anymore.
